  • Chilly means a bit cold when you go outside and the wind is blowing and making things cold, it's chilly.

  • When it's chilly, you might not turn the heating on.

  • You might just put on some extra clothes.

  • In the UK in winter, it's rarely freezing cold, but often chilly.

  • A seal, s e a l is a tool you use to mark a document or letter to prevent others from opening it or copying it.

  • Traditionally, seals were made of metal.

  • You poured out some wax onto an envelope and pressed the seal into it while the wax was still wet so that it would dry into the shape of the seal.
