So let's look then at some expressions with these very simple verbs to make and to do.
And people often get them confused.
Okay, very simple ones.
We make a mess.
Okay, so you come into the kid's bedroom and everything is on the floor.
Clothes, toys, books, everything.
Oh, who made this mess?
Who made the mess?
Not did the mess.
Who made the mess?
So we can make a mess.
Similarly, we can make a mistake.
I didn't do a mistake.
I made a mistake.
I was doing my homework.
Mum and I made a mistake.
What will I do?
Well, just cross it out and we can correct it.
