However, the new Starz series, Mary and George promises to finally introduce the wider world to the dashing country commoner who won the heart of a king and was raised so high he had no where to go but plummeting back to earth. The series emphasises George’s relationship with his ambitions mother, Mary who encouraged and facilitated his royal seduction.
