  • I'm a public historian, author and broadcaster.

  • And today we are jumping back to the Bronze Age and sailing down the Indus river to learn all about the archaeology of toilets, terracotta ornaments and even unicorns.

  • Yes, its the Indus civilization.

  • And to help us excavate this buried history, we have two very special guests in history archaeology corner.

  • Shes a post doctoral fellow at University of Cambridge Museums and postdoctoral research associate at Pembroke College, Cambridge.

  • Her research includes the archaeology of the Indus civilization of South Asia, as well as empire and race and museum collections.

  • And shes a founding member of the European Society of Black and Allied Archaeologists.
