  I definitely thought back on my own years of addiction

  and the things that I learned from it

  and the things that I wanted to impart to other people.

  I discovered amphetamines when I was 16.

  I was a very shy, near–sighted girl.

  And I suddenly felt like

  I had more confidence

  and that I was livelier

  and more attractive

  and definitely thinner.
