  • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Jisoo.

  • And I'm Crystal.

  • It's kind of crazy.

  • We've been doing this, like, understanding new slang segment on the podcast for just about a year and a half now.

  • We've gone through a good chunk of words, but what's truly fascinating is that some of these words have either evolved or maybe even disappeared or are still being used just as much as when we first discussed them.

  • So we thought it would be fun to look back on the words that we've talked about and do a kind of awards ceremony, superlatives for these slang words.

  • So we wrote down some superlatives awards to hand out.

  • So the first one we wrote down is the fastest to die, aka the one hit wonder.

  • Ooh.

  • Okay, so I'm looking at our little list of slang words that we've covered, and I feel like one that sticks out to me for this is age bowl, which was.

  • I just burst out laughing, and I feel like.

  • Cause this one started almost as an averse reaction to millennials saying lol all the time.

  • It never really had heart and soul in the word.

  • You know what I mean?

  • It was just, like, a response to our lol usage.

  • So I think ijbowl is definitely a one hit wonderland uses it anymore.

  • And I remember when we discussed this one, we were, like, not even sure if it's a real slang word or if it was just some decoy to, like, throw off the millennials.

  • Exactly.
