Thank you, Yolotango.
As always, we are back with our third installment of the best of series with Professor Greg Blonder, which originally aired May of 2021.
Chris and I had a lot of fun talking to Professor Blonder in the peak of the pandemic, which really wasn't that long ago, but seems like a lifetime ago.
We were stuck in our homes, our apartments and cooking our asses off.
And I think my interest in how cooking at home developed was really around 2019 cause I never cooked at a home before.
Sounds ridiculous, but a lot of professional cooks, especially in New York City where you have a small apartment and you just don't have the room or time.
I never developed how to cook at home or use home appliances because I just never did and I never cooked up when I was growing up, etcetera.
So 2019 Grace became pregnant with our son Hugo and I had to start to cook and nourish and be pressed with time in different ways that I never had as a professional cook.
So I had to ask myself a lot of questions and think about what was necessary in a home kitchen.
And it was fun and it began and it was sort of the time was a catalyst for asking a lot of questions in the science of household cooking items, including the microwave with any day, nonstick pan, stainless steel and more.
Greg Blonder, a scientist, inventor and entrepreneur who at the time was a mechanical engineering professor at Boston University, is one of the best and brightest and has so many insights into how we cook and what we cook in.
We had a bunch of questions for Doctor Blonder and he debunked a whole lot of cookware myths we've heard our whole lives.
Well, here's our episode with Professor Greg Blonder in our best of series.
