1 小时 2 分钟Welcome to Macro musings, where each week we pull back the curtain and take a closer look at the most important macroeconomic issues of the past, present and future.
I am your host, David Beckworth, a senior research fellow at the Mercator center at George Mason University.
And I'm glad you decided to join us.
Our guest today is Nicholas Anthony.
Nick is a policy analyst at the Cato Institute center for Monetary and Financial Alternatives and is a fellow at the Human Rights Foundation.
Nick is also the author of a new book titled Digital Currency or digital Decoding CBDC and the Future of Money.
And he joins us today to discuss his new book.
Nick, welcome back to the program.
Thank you for having me on.
David, it's great to have you on.
And on the last show, I believe we talked about this, but you and I have something very special in common.
We both have survived George Selgin.
He was my advisor in grad school.
You had worked for him at Cato.
We love George.
George is probably listening to the show right now.
But just to let the audience know, he's very exacting and very precise.
If you write something up and it's not done perfectly, he'll let you know.
So kudos to you for graduating from the school of hard knocks or George Selgin.
And likewise, thank you for paving the way to show, I saw you were the light at the end of the tunnel.
