Hello, and welcome to episode 564 of Geek's Guide to the Galaxy.
I'm David Barr Kirtley, author of the book save me, please and other stories.
Publishers Weekly visceral settings and robust characters will have readers marveling at how much Kirtley is able to fit into a limited page count for SFF fans.
With no time to sink into a doorstopper, these concentrated doses of genre goodness will hit the spot.
And Kirkus Reviews writes Kirtley employs sharp, concise prose that complements his puckish sense of humorous.
The author's passionate voice breathes life into this wonderful array of tales.
So again, the book is called save me, please in other stories, and it's available now on Amazon.com.
and our guest today is Theresa Sutherland.
She holds an MFA in film from Florida State University, where she directed the short film the Winter, about a pioneer woman being haunted by an invisible monster.
She later adapted the story into the feature film the wind, directed by Emma.
Tammy Teresa has also worked as a staff writer on the Netflix series Midnight Mass and is the director of the new feature film Lovely, dark and deep, about a park ranger investigating mysterious disappearances in a national park.
I'll also mention that my wife, Steph Grossman, co host of the Basement Girls horror podcast, has a small voice acting role in lovely, dark and deep.
So everyone should definitely go check that out.
All right, so now here's your interview with Theresa Sutherlandhouse.
