As a former management consultant with an MBA who has worked with for profit and nonprofit organizations, I understand that nonprofit consultants encounter unique circumstances.
You must not only adapt to the different organizational cultures of each client, be mindful of multiple stakeholders, including the board of directors, understand the funding sources that cover your consulting engagement, all while serving the mission of the nonprofit.
