I'm your host, Natalie Ekdal, and my zone of genius is coaching women business owners from multi five figures in annual revenue to multi six figures in annual revenue.
Our clients seek to build stability through a retainer business or high ticket project business, and our six figures lab group coaching program supports them in raising prices, setting boundaries and positioning their business into the optimal space in the marketplace.
Like you, I have a lot on my plate as a wife, mom of three, caregiver, volunteer and business owner.
May I encourage you to get as much help as you can afford at home and in your business.
And remember, just because you can do something does not mean that you should I've thought about so many different ways to commemorate this special anniversary and decided that I would share ten of the highlights of my first decade as a podcaster.
I say first decade because I love podcasting and all the ways it has enriched my life and fulfilled my childhood dream of having a talk radio show.
Before I share my highlights, let's take a short walk down memory lane as to how I got started.
My husband, Mark, and I were nearly three years into our startup SaaS company, which is software as a service, and our dreams of marrying my marketing and business chops with his software and tech abilities were not taking off as we expected.
I started listening to podcasts for ideas and inspiration and to learn more about this new social media thing that was happening.
Instagram and Pinterest both launched after we had our software company, and the iPad was nearly a brand new product too.
That's.
That's the kind of things that can happen in a decade.
My hope was to find someone to listen to that was like me, a woman trying to juggle motherhood.
At the time, I had a preteen and a toddler and was running a household and a startup.
Given all the podcasts for women entrepreneurs that exist now, you may be shocked to know that in September 2013, when I snagged the URL Bizchicks.com, remember we spelled chicks with an x here.
I could not find a single podcast dedicated to women entrepreneurs, so I decided to launch one.
I chose to do this because I really needed something just for me.
It was so frustrating to be struggling with our new business, and I found having a business partner challenging, especially when we were also life partners.
Now, as it turns out, with most great ideas.
