I'm Rob Young, and we will spend much of the program today looking at a dramatic moment in the escalating conflict between Israel and the lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
It has been confirmed that the veteran leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in a massive airstrike on the lebanese capital, Beirut, on Friday.
Well, earlier on, before Hezbollah confirmed Hassan Nasrallahs death, I spoke to Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner, a spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces.
I asked him how the military knew that Hassan Nasrallah had been killed.
