My obsession with Zelda started when I was six, with the very first Zelda game.
I remember spending hours roaming around hyrule fighting monsters and looking for secrets.
Decades later, when my daughter was six, she fell in love with breath of the wild.
As a dad and a huge Zelda nerd, it made me really proud.
But when she first started playing, it came at a cost.
So it was right after I demolished your game.
Thats my daughter, whos now ten years old.
So when I was little, my dad had beat the game.
By that point, I had put hundreds of hours into breath of the wild.
And even though I had finished the main story, I still had plenty left.
To explore and I wanted to play it.
So I accidentally clicked the button that said new game.
So I remember you hitting new game, and when I looked over and I saw that you didn't have any armor or anything, my heart sunk.
Do you remember what I said you had to do because you deleted my game?
You said that I'd have to beat that game.
Yeah.
And did you?
Yes.
It took me about, uh, five years to nor four years to do it.
