It's off to New Hampshire to meet Ralph Lumbly (the hilarious Zach Olsen), a down on himself man still trying to make the starting lineup of the Patriots to make his father proud, who shares his struggles and how they're much worse than fellow AA member Dan Torrence in this The Shining/Dr. Sleep themed episode.
Welcome back to another episode of my neighbors are dead.
I'm your host, Adam Peacock.
And we're all familiar with the big names in horror.
Freddie, Jason, Aunt Bedelia, but who were not familiar with the ones just outside the terror, the ones who didn't get to tell their tales.
I got pretty lucky growing up.
I was never forced to do anything by either one of my parents.
Whatever I was into, they were super supportive.
If I was into baseball, it was all baseball music, all music, movies.
All movies, whatever.
They were great.
But not everybody has that story.
Some people gotta live for their parents, and sometimes that can lead to crippling addiction problems.
And hopefully, if that's true, you don't let other people's stories trump you.
I traveled to New Hampshire this week to talk to a guy who fell into that exact trap.
Enjoy the show.
Welcome back to another episode of my neighbors are dead.
I'm your host, Adam Peacock, coming to you this week from the beautiful state of New Hampshire.
I am sitting outside in the parking lot of St.
Joseph's catholic church I've just attended.
Well, I've just attended an AA meeting, and I'm sitting out here with somebody who was willing to share his story.
