Adam talks to high schooler Cam (the hilarious Alana Johnston) about the power of pogs, navigating the world without a phone, and the cult that took his friend and almost took his life. Then Adam talks with actress, comedian, and writer Alana Johnston about the impacts of Hereditary, texting in cults, laser eyes, and so much more. Welcome back to another episode of my neighbors are dead.
I'm your host, Adam Peacock, and we're all familiar with the big names in horror.
Freddy Jason, Sid Phillips from Toy Story.
That kid's insane.
But who we're not familiar with are the ones just outside the terror, the ones who didn't get to tell their stories.
I had a pretty good time in high school.
I was prom king.
I was voted class clown.
I was.
I was pretty kick ass.
But that took a long time to develop.
That didn't happen until my senior year.
Most of the time, I was just flying under the radar.
And I think that's okay.
That's kind of where you want to be.
You don't want to be above board.
You don't want anybody to know what's going on with you.
So you gotta find your own things to do.
You know, I played a lot of Marvel's overpower, and, you know, there are other card games like that, pogs being one of them.
This week's guest started their own pog club, which I think is very cool.
