Welcome back to another episode of my neighbors are dead.
I'm your host, Adam Peacock, and we're all familiar with the big names in horror.
Freddy, Jason, Michael Berkow, but who are not familiar with the ones just outside the terror, the ones who didn't get to tell their tales.
I don't think anybody listening to this has ever gone to a party and not known what was going to happen.
You sort of get these expectations built up in your head.
Is that girl I like going to be there?
Is that boy I like going to be there?
Is there going to be booze?
Who do we have to find to get us booze?
Whose older brother's around to go to the store to get us beer?
Mostly centered around booze, but for the most part, you kind of know how the night's gonna go.
You're either gonna get a smooch or you're not.
It's pretty simple stuff.
You don't ever have to worry about being trapped in somebody's house for all of eternity because you wanted to go to a high school party with some upperclassmen.
That's our story.
But that's not everybody's story.
Sometimes it goes a whole lot worse than what you thought it was gonna be.
Sometimes you get trapped in a place forever.
Well, that's what this week's guest is going through.
I traveled back to Colorado to talk to this week's guest.
