Adam heads back to the Overlook Hotel to talk to a pool manager (the ridiculously talented Justin Collette) drawn to his profession by a traumatic childhood event. Welcome back to another episode of my neighbors are dead.
I'm your host, Adam Peacock, and we're all familiar with the big names in horror, Freddy Jason, the man in the top hat at the red line Inn.
But who we're not familiar with are the ones just outside the tear, the ones who didn't get to tell their tales.
When I was a kid, we had a community pool in the shape of a z, and we all called it the z pool.
One summer, they got a water slide, and it was the best summer of our lives.
I would beg my mom to take me to go there.
All I wanted to do was hang out at the z pool.
All your little friends would be there.
It was great.
But nothing horrible ever happened, which I guess is a good thing.
But it'd be kind of nice to know that there would be somebody on hand who could handle it if something did go south.
We didn't have that, and thankfully, that never came to pass.
But this week's guest is that person.
This week's guest is somebody that you want to have on your team when something goes sideways at the pool.
I traveled back to the overlook hotel to find out the ins and outs of pool maintenance.
Enjoy the show.
Welcome back to another episode of my neighbors are dead.
I'm your host, Adam Peacock, and I'm coming to you again this week from a place that I never really thought I would visit as much as I have been.
But I'm back in Colorado.
I'm at the overlook hotel, and I'm talking to Simon.
