Well, we’re a little more than a month into the season, so Molly Knight (check out her awesome Substack) and I go all around the league to talk about: * The goofy things happening in St. Louis * The Dodgers’ paternity leave parade * The pure awesomeness of Ronald Acuña * The struggles of Juan Soto (though he went 4-for-4 on Tuesday!) * The hope that that the Pirates can somehow keep defying gravity * The more realistic hope that the Orioles can keep defying gravity And much more! Check it out. This is a public episode. If you’d like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit joeblogs.joeposnanski.com/subscribe
Hi, everybody.
Welcome.
I'm Joe Posnansky and here joined, as always, by Molly Knight.
Molly, how are you?
Hi.
I'm doing well.
A lot of crazy baseball things to.
Discuss today, as usual, fun baseball things to discuss.
So we are recording this in early May.
And so the season is a little more than a month old and already all sorts of craziness, kookiness.
It's going to be, it's going to be a fun season.
So what we thought we'd do is we just kind of go around baseball, talk a few about some of the top things going on.
But first, I guess I would ask, before we get to any of the specifics, we'll talk some cardinals, we'll talk some dodgers, some Yankees.
We'll get to everybody.
But we're a month in now and it feels like the rules are now kind of settled ground.
I don't think anybody, you know, there's still every so often a weird thing pops up, but we're, we're pretty much a month in and everybody kind of knows where we stand.
Where are you on the rules?
What do you think?
So I haven't noticed the shift at all.
So I'm really pleased about that.
