  • Thank you for having me, Joe.

  • Hi.

  • Welcome to the podcast.

  • I am Joe Posnansky and I, we are trying something a little bit different today, a little special podcast for you.

  • Wednesday, September 29 in Kansas City, Bill James and I had a little conversation for rainy day books and at the Unity Temple on the plaza about my book the baseball 100, which is out.

  • I hope, I hope some of you have gotten it.

  • Response has been extraordinary.

  • I'm kind of blown away by it all.

  • This was a really cool event.

  • Bill and I just talked baseball for an hour and ten minutes, which you'll get to hear in a moment.

  • But before we get to that, I do want to mention something.

  • No idea what it'll mean to you, but Mike Shaw and I are going to try something really different in the coming week.

  • On October 9, Mike and I are going to be in Cooperstown doing a live podcast.

  • Wow.

  • It's not going to be live.

  • You won't hear it live, but we'll be doing it in front of an actual studio audience there at the grandstand theater in, at the hall of fame.

  • So I believe it's, it's going to be free for all people who come to the hall of Fame.

  • I don't know any, I don't know you.

  • I wish I knew you better, frankly.

  • But if you happen to be anywhere near Cooperstown and would love to come out, the event's going to be 130.
