It was always, imagine Newt nicker from aliens.
What if she would have had a life, her and her friends, living in a colony with just nothing to do?
And you can either be a farmer or a miner, and that's all you gotta do.
And there's a deleted scene on aliens where you can see all these kids running around in the extended version of that film.
And I remember seeing that.
It goes like, wow, those poor kids.
They're happy now, but once they grow and they realize their circumstances, what are they gonna do?
So I was attracted to those characters.
The idea of seeing those 20 something on that reality.
