So there's movies like, if I went home and angel was on, I've seen it, but I'll probably leave it on, and I'll probably watch it, and I'll probably look at it, and I'll probably just like being in the company of that movie.
And, like, I like being in the company of two lane blacktop, and I like being in the company of Smokey and the Bandit, and I like being in the company of Douglas.
Like, I just like a movie that you've seen, and you're just like, I just like being around this movie.
And so that was a big thing for me about these three different styles, is to be like, if you caught these movies, you know, down the road from now on tv, you would just leave it on, because you're like, I like the ride.

Okay, so, well, first off, I got to see it again for a second time, and it was even more fun this time around and seeing it on this screen, especially, which is best projection in anywhere, just seeing how beautiful it looks and seeing a lot more detail.
I just love it.
As you know, I'm a big fan of all of your work and of the horror genre in general, and I just love your affinity for it and your tackling of all these different genres over the years.
And so we'll talk a lot about Maxine, obviously, but let's just start off with, I'm sure all of you know this, but just in case you don't, this is the third installment of a trilogy that Ty created, starting with X, then Pearl, now Maxine.
And I just, I think it's so wonderful that there's, like, original content out there.
I hate to use the word content, but you know what I mean.
There's all this pre existing IP and to have, like, fresh original stories being told, produced and distributed, just incredible.
So I just want to ask you a little bit about.
Just to tell everybody an abridged version of how this trilogy came about, because I know it wasn't actually thought of as a trilogy at first.
