today I'm chatting with Tom Tugenthat.
Tom has served as a member of parliament for Tonebridge since 2015.
He has served as security minister.
He has also stood up to the UK's enemies and been sanctioned by Russia, China and Iran for that privilege.
As a backbencher, Tom was elected by MP's to serve as the chair of the foreign affairs committee.
Before being elected as an MP, Tom served in military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Hes worked for the Foreign Office, helped to set up the National Security Council of Afghanistan and on returning to the UK, Tom served as military assistant to the chief of the defense staff, the professional head of the UK armed forces.
