Coming to you live from London with me, Sean Lay, the head of UNRWA, the United Nations Agency for palestinian refugees, is warning that food supplies in Gaza are running dangerously low.
Philippe Lazzarini said some shelters have been forced to close for the first time since the war began a year ago.
Mister Lazzarini warned that at least 400,000 people were trapped in the north of Gaza.
Many have left the giant Jabalaya refugee camp to comply with evacuation orders issued by the Israeli Defense Forces.
