2 小时 24 分钟This week on Talking Sopranos Michael and Steve welcome five amazing guests to the podcast. First up it’s Frank Renzulli one of the most important writers on the Sopranos. Many of the stories from his life actually became scenes on the show. Then it’s Rob Spragg from Alabama 3. He wrote the theme song for the Sopranos "Woke Up This Morning". You’ll be shocked to hear what the piece is really about. Next up Henry Yuk. Henry only appeared in one episode but made a huge impact. He played Sungyon Kim who owned Kim’s Laundry, and ended up getting whacked by Tony Blundetto. Then Executive Producer Ilene Landress joins the show. She ran things behind the scenes and knows where all the bodies are buried. Lastly Dan Attias talks about what it was like to direct episodes of the Sopranos and to work with James Gandolfini Edie Falco. It’s a fantastic show you won’t want to miss. Talking Sopranos #85. What's happening, buddy?
How are you?
We're very busy.
We got a lot going on, Steve.
A lot going on.
But all good stuff.
All good stuff.
Today's show, we're going to do something a little different.
We have five guests, five great guests on the show.
Everyone is absolutely fantastic.
First up, Frank Renzulli.
Great writer Frank Renzzulli is one of the initial writers on the show.
Grew up in Boston, grew up kind of in a soprano land of Boston and had, you know, a lot of his stories wound up from his, you know, childhood, growing up around the mob.
Made it to the show.
He's someone who really helped develop the voice and the tone of the sopranos.
Then we have a good buddy, Rob Sprague.
I like him.
From Alabama three.
Rob wrote and sang the soprano theme song woke up this morning, which really became almost like another character on the show every week.
The show opened with Rob Sprague in Alabama three.
