What Israel called precise strikes on military targets in Iran have been described as limited by most observers, including those in Iran itself.
There were explosions in the country's capital, Tehran, overnight, and two Iranian soldiers were killed.
Israel said it was responding to Iran's firing of almost 200 ballistic missiles more than three weeks ago.
This was recorded from a spot close to the ASP shopping center in northern Tehran.
The United States was briefed on the strikes beforehand, but did not have any involvement in the Israeli operation.
That's according to the Pentagon.
We'll be discussing that later.
Israel said the three waves of attacks had achieved their goals.
And Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari announced the completion of the military strikes on Iran.
I can now confirm that we have concluded the Israeli response to Iran's attack against Israel.
