What a lovely duo I have with me this afternoon after another very interesting duo were with us on the telly this morning.

Subtle I am not.
It's been a big weekend of news.
We had the Chancellor and the new Conservative leader on the telly this morning.
Simon, you were on the wireless.
Yeah.
And look, you know, there are two things.
This is one of the biggest, most stonking budgets I've ever seen in my lifetime.
And I can tell you with my business editor hat on business feel, they've been handed the lion's share of the bill for this fixing the foundations budget and most of them are not very happy about it.
Well, I tell you, I was struck at the very start by how tightly you squeeze these two women together.
I thought maybe it was quite uncomfortable for them to be so close.
And I have to say one of my most memorable moments from this morning was when you might have thought Cammie Badenoch and Rachel Reeves would have been buying the drinks for their teams after their big weeks.
But actually, as the program was getting going and the theme music was still playing, actually this is what they said.
Well, there is a budget tradition to go to the Two Chairman Pub in Westminster the night after the Budget.
I popped in, but I was doing the morning television and radio rounds afterwards, so I didn't stay for too long.
