  • Hey, it's your friend Mel and welcome to the Mel Robbins Podcast.

  • I don't think I've ever told you this crazy story about this experience that I had with an owl.

  • And I'm talking like a wild animal owl, not going to the zoo or somewhere else and having a spiritual experience with an owl.

  • I had a life changing experience with a wild animal.

  • It happened almost a year ago to the date today.

  • And I've been thinking a lot about it because the story is not only amazing because of what happened, but it's amazing because of how it impacted me and my marriage and my husband and my family for an entire year.

  • And I've thought a lot about it and there are five ways, five lessons, five pieces of wisdom that the whole experience taught me.

  • And so today it is story time on the Mel Robbins Podcast.

  • Let's get into It One thing about living in Southern Vermont is that it is dark by dinnertime.

  • In fact, it's dark at 4:30pm which means I'm all about finding some calm.

  • One of the great things to do to wrap up your day Yoga, evening meditations.

  • And I love that.

  • No matter what season of life you're in, whether you're in your holiday era, your wellness era, your running era, or it is dark at 4:30pm ERA, Peloton has the classes, community and motivation to help you stay on track.

  • You can pop into a yoga class to stretch and breathe or dive into a bar or Pilates session to feel strong and centered.

  • Some days all I need is a 10 minute meditation to help me wind down.

  • Other days I need a longer class to help me reset my focus and boost my mood.
