Welcome, welcome, welcome, everybody to Strike Force 5, the podcast where five late night hosts who find themselves out of work and who have large staff that they've been supporting band together so they don't have to resort to releasing a line of toaster ovens or selling pictures of their feet.
That is essentially the theme and purpose of Strikeforce 5.
I am John Oliver and I'm joined by what I like to call the Strikeforce 4.
First, let me welcome a son of South Carolina and up until May 2nd, I believe an employee of CBS.
It's Stephen Colbert.
Hello, John.
Hello.
Joining us is a graduate of Sogaties High School.
If you look at the notable alumni on its Wikipedia page, you'll see names such as Jimmy Fallon.
And that's it.
Jimmy Fallon.
Thank you very much.
I'm so excited to be here.
We're also joined by a man born in the historic borough of Brooklyn and raised in the historic mistake of Las Vegas.
Jimmy Kimmel is here.
Thank you.
And how dare you.
Finally, we have someone who, like three of the Strike Force 5 apparently appeared in an episode of Spin City.
You know him for playing Chris Byrne in the movie New Year's Eve, playing himself in the interview, himself in this Is Us, himself in Lady Dynamite, himself in Crashing, and himself in Late Night with Seth Meyers.
It's Seth Meyers.
