And a very good morning to you.
We're live in London and you're with Monocle on Sunday with me, Emma Nelson.
Coming up today here at Midori House, my guests Nina Dos Santos and Rainbow Murray will share their views on the week's biggest stories.
Good morning, Nina.
Busy week?
Quite a busy week.
A few elections, obviously the big one in the UK on Thursday, which saw the Labour Party win a significant landslide, but we've got elections taking place in France today and also I'm particularly interested in why a row over conscription could actually topple Israel's government.
That seems like it's a conversation long overdue that has stoked some ire and it could now also be coming to a head.
Thank you for that.
We will be heading to Marseille as France heads to the polls for the final round of elections.
Hello.
This is Mary Fitzgerald, Monaco correspondent in Marseille.
I will be bringing news of today's important French elections and giving a sense of the very real mood of trepidation on the ground.
Plus, Monocle's editorial director Tyler Brulet will be joining us from Murano.
It's the 7th of July, 2024.
Live from London, this is Monocle on Sunday.
