Good morning from London.
You're listening to Monocle on Sunday with me, Tyler Burleigh.
Coming up on today's program here at midori house, not D90 in Zurich.
My guest today, Nina Dos Santos.
Also Latika Burkas here.
They're going to share their views on the biggest stories.
Nina, we were just catching up before we went on air.
What are the topics for you today?
There's only one word, and I mention it a few times, Elections.
Elections.
Elections were seven days off.
The elections, the first round in France in those parliamentary elections.
But 11 days off, big vote here in the UK and it's not looking good for the incumbents.
Surprise, surprise.
Obviously, Rishi Sunak being pummeled in the polls, Macron in third position.
But the big thing in the UK is this betting scandal where it just seems day after day, we're learning that more figures inside the ruling Conservative Party may well have put bets on on the date of the election, just before it was announced.
The question is, did they have insider.
Information Much, much to unpack.
Also, Monocle senior news editor Chris Chermak is here.
He's going to be talking about, of course, everything from Washington, of course, pre NATO summit.
