For the first time, Americans are spending the highest amount of their total viewing time watching the online video sharing platform on TVs.
YouTube knocks Disney from the top of the chart, which also includes major media names like Netflix, Paramount, Amazon and Fox.
The months that follow will see it pushed back into second place behind Disney and NBC Universal.
But its wider impact continues around the world, including the uk.
There again, for the first time, less than half of 16 to 24 year olds are watching traditional television sets.
They're spending more time on video sharing platforms instead.
