In part 2 of this series, we talk with Kiki, the waitress that Chase met years after his encounter with Zozo who shared an eerily similar experiences of her own. After tracking her down, it became clear that her story is even more intense than what Chase remembered. Kiki's encounter began after the loss of a friend when she turned to a Ouija board to seek answers or some form of closure. If you would like to know more about the history and origins of Zozo, and what this phenomenon might be, we are currently making a research based episode that will be available on the Otherworld Patreon very soon. That will be available at www.patreon.com/otherworld Check out our Merch Follow us on: Instagram, TikTok, Twitter For business inquiries contact: OtherworldTeam@unitedtalent.com If you have experienced something paranormal or unexplained, email us your story at stories@otherworldpod.com To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. As a Ford owner, there are lots of choices of where to get your vehicle serviced.
You could choose to go to their place, the local dealership, your place, home, apartment or condo.
Your workplace, even your happy place, like your cottage on the lake.
Go to your Ford dealer or choose Ford pickup and delivery to have your vehicle picked up, serviced, and brought right back.
Or choose mobile service where a technician will come to you and do routine maintenance right on the spot.
Both are complimentary and depend on your location.
That's ownership built around you.
Contact your participating dealer or visit FordService.com for important details and limitations.
Welcome to Otherworld.
I'm your host, Jack Wagner.
In the last episode, we met Chase, who used a Ouija board with his cousins and encountered something he believed was impersonating his deceased grandfather.
Eventually, this thing on the board identified itself by the name Zozo, and everything took a turn for the worse.
During further sessions on the board, this thing that they are talking to was able to answer questions that even they didn't know the answer to, seemingly block cell phone reception for the group, and eventually it even began manifesting physically around Chase's home.
Over the next couple years, he ended up actually seeing this thing multiple times.
This happened when Chase was a teenager and Chase identifies as an atheist.
He did back then as well.
So he tried very hard to put this behind him and completely move on.
And that worked pretty well until one night in college, him and his friends went out to a hookah bar and they met a waitress who started talking about the paranormal and then described a nearly identical experience to the one Chase had.
I think this was a reality shifting moment for the both of them because they both had this very strange saga take place in their lives.
And then they tried to write it off, convince themselves that they imagined it, and then suddenly it was being validated by a complete stranger on a totally random night.
