One night while watching TV with his mom, Adam has an overwhelming sense of knowing his mother won’t live to see him become an adult. He tries to put these feelings aside and live normally until a fateful morning in late January of 1995. Welcome to Otherworld.
I'm your host, Jack Wagner.
This story comes from a man named Adam who was born and raised in Kentucky.
And when I met him, I remember thinking to myself, this is pretty much exactly what I imagined a guy from Kentucky to look like.
He's a tough looking dude with a big beard, and when I interviewed him, he was sitting in front of this huge shelf that was filled with bottles of bourbon.
The thing is though, Adam's story ended up being one of the most heartbreaking and contemplative episodes I've heard while making the show.
And it's a story that raises a lot of complicated questions about fate and free will.
