单集简介 ...

Last year, during the first interview with Solveig, I learned that she had a reading with Wendy coming up. This was early 2023, and I was still just getting to know Wendy (the clairvoyant from the "Ball of Light" episodes) and having trouble wrapping my head around her in general. Then I met Solveig, and it was just so much to process at once. I thought it would be interesting to sort of test them both by recording this reading and ensuring that Wendy knew nothing about Solveig or her story going into it. I also wanted to do this because there were things Wendy had told me in the past that were very similar to some of the things Solveig had told me. 单集文稿 ...

  • Welcome to the Otherworld, Patreon.

  • I'm your host, Jack Wagner.

  • This episode is a companion piece of sorts to the Them series.

  • This certainly could have been one of the main episodes in the series, but there's a few reasons why I thought maybe it would be best to live on Patreon.

  • It's honestly more of a side quest of sorts.

  • A side quest that involves Wendy, who I'm sure many of you remember from the Black Widow and Ball of Light episodes of the show.

  • Wendy doesn't refer to herself as this, but I think many people would call her a clairvoyant.

  • She had what she thinks is a Kundalini awakening years ago where she started getting flooded with information, going into long periods of trance where she would see things and say things and lose track of time.

  • She experienced a lot of wild stuff that was documented in those episodes that I mentioned.

  • And believe it or not, Sulvi's story came to me around the same time I was getting to know Wendy, which was quite a while ago.

  • Really, really early into the show.

  • When I first heard Sulvi's story.

  • I found it completely overwhelming.

  • Just simply too much for me.

  • I mean, I think I was experiencing a cognitive dissonance of sorts.

  • Like I believed Solvay as she spoke to me and told me what she went through.

  • But I couldn't believe all of it could be real just because it seemed too absurd to be real.

  • Like it was just too much to wrap my head around.

  • This was so early into the show that I just truly did not know what to make of it.

  • It was far beyond what I was used to encountering in the early stages of making Otherworld.
