Hello and welcome to the special episode of the Monaco Weekly.
I'm Ferdinand Augusto Pacheco and for today's show I speak with the founder and designer of Brazilian brand Hundred Andrea Namital.
For the latest collection of the brand, he teamed up with the Sergio Rodriguez Institute to create a beautiful collection inspired by the major Brazilian furniture designer Andrea Namitala from Hendri, which I have to say is one of my favorite Brazilian brands.
Every time I go to Brazil, I have to go to the Hundred shop.
So it's a pleasure talking to you here.
Andre.
Before we talk about the new collection, which is very special, which is inspired by the great Sergio Rodriguez, explain to us a little bit more about the brand.
I know you are the founder when actually Hundred started.
Hey, nice to meet you.
Great talking to you as well.
100 started 2012, so it's been 11 years since the beginning.
I actually started studying law school for a year and quickly found out that it was not my thing.
So in the middle of the course, I started a job in fashion.
And it kind of like changed my mind.
And since the first job, I was actually tasked to go to New York City for a research trip.
And the combination of starting working with fashion and already coming to New York to research it, like it, my mind was so much wider.
And when I came back to Brazil after a month there, I decided that I was going to keep up with the fashion and that it was actually fulfilled me in so many parts.
Because I wasn't just designing, I was researching, I was understanding the people outside.
I was coming to the stores and getting to know how the business was developed.
I was also creating.
