This is the Guardian.
Taylor Swift's Eras tour comes to the UK this week.
This has been the most extraordinary experience of my entire life.
It's the first ever tour to GROSS More than $1 billion.
But I.
I don't get it.
I am not a Taylor Swift fan, but I get that a lot of you are.
I can't deny it.
She is everywhere a music, culture and business icon.
But should one person have so much influence now?
I'm actually a calculated manipulator rather than a smart businesswoman.
You're listening to pop culture with me, Shantae Joseph for the Guardian.
Taylor Swift fans don't seem to care how many albums she makes.
You lot are obsessed with her.
So much so that when Taylor's private jet lands in the uk, some are saying that the economy will see a billion pound bump with all of the spending on outfits, travel, hotels, and the tickets themselves.
But not everyone loves Taylor.
Many, like me, think the hype is a bit too much.
But I'm always happy to be proven wrong, though.
So I have enlisted the help of my dear friend and Guardian writer Elle Hunt.
She told me that she's in a WhatsApp group called Swiftergeddon and she's gonna go and see Taylor Swift this Sunday.
