Well, that music can only mean one thing.
It is time for our weekly global Countdown with Monocles senior correspondent Fernando Augusto Pacheco.
And Fernando, it's a very special, special one this week, isn't it?
Very special.
We are looking at Eurovision, of course, which is happening this weekend.
And usually, Vinnie, I have to say I choose my top five favorite songs on the global countdown, but this time I decided to be a little bit fair because, you know, this show, we look at the charts, so I'm looking at the bookies favorite.
So the five songs we're gonna hear right now are the five songs who are the favorites to win the award.
I mean, they might get it wrong, you know, they might not even be in the top 10.
But here are the.
It is a very complicated voting process, isn't it, that's involved.
So very complicated.
And there's a lot of different tastes with the public, not necessarily agree with the jury.
So there's a lot of little changes here and there.
Okay, well, let's hear number five.
It's Ireland.
And of course, Ireland is one of the most special countries.
Eurovision wise, they won seven times.
They're tied with Sweden and they're once again one of the favorites.
Who knows, they might get eight and beat Sweden for that.
It's a very unusual entry.
