Hi, I'm David Barr Curtley, author of the book Save Me Please and Other Stories.
And welcome to episode 582 of Geek's Guide to the Galaxy.
Our guests today are James Wynn and Craig Brewer, hosts of the Re Reading Wolf podcast, who you may remember from our feature interview back in episode 535.
And today on the show, we'll be discussing Gene Wolf's classic novel the Fifth Head of Cerberus, about a pair of planets that may or may not be inhabited by shapeshifting aliens.
This is the book that first introduced Wolf's signature style of filling his narratives with complicated mysteries.
And it also established his reputation as one of the greatest science fiction authors of the 1970s.
And this will include spoilers for everything in the book, so just be aware of that.
And now here's our discussion with James Wynn and Craig Brewer.
All right, so we're here with James Wynn and Craig Brewer.
Welcome to the show.
Hello.
Hello.
Good to be here.
Yeah, good to be back, even I should say.
That's kind of cool.
Yeah, yeah.
So excited to talk to you guys again.
And so I'm going to start off with just a little bit of my history reading the Fifth Head of Cerberus.
