It's 2007, four years since the Madonna of the Arm Winder was stolen from Drumlandrig Castle.
There have been rumours floating around that the Peyton's in Ireland, it's in Russia, it's somewhere in Italy.
No one seems to know for sure.
But one thing everyone seems to agree on, there are no good leads to follow.
It's all gone cold.
Not that I knew any of this at the time.
I was 18, enjoying my life.
And the truth is, I knew nothing about that painting until this one evening.
I've been down the pub with our Jack, me cousin.
We'd had a couple of bevies and we were about to go off to a party.
So we're outside what used to be a boozer that my dad ran.

So this is in this car park here is where my dad told me.
It was a bit of a joke of my dad always having a laugh.
So when he took me to one side in the car park and said he had something really important to tell me, I could tell straight away he was being deadly serious.
The determination and excitement in his voice is what I remember most.
He was always up to Sutton.
There was always something big coming, but this was different.
I knew it when he said to me, something amazing is going to happen, something unbelievable, something you can tell the grandkids.
