The lives of the Graham family come crashing down. And revelations from Marshall Ronald and John Craig seem to seal their fate.
BBC Sounds Music Radio podcast.
Hiya, Mark.
You okay?
Hello.
Hi, Olivia.
Remember when Marshall sent that email to the loss adjuster, the fellow with the reward, Mark Dalrymple?
You know, the one that started this whole thing off.
Dear Mr.
Dalrymple, Ray, recovery of stolen art Madonna of the Yarn Winder.
We've already covered what happened next.
Marshall was put in touch with John Craig and the plan to get the painting back developed from there.
But when he read the email for the very first time, what did Mark Dalrymple actually make of it?
I immediately thought Mr.
Ronald was deceptive.
And so I believe that you spoke to Marshall on the telephone before you handed him over to John Craig.
Yes.
And was there anything in the call that made you particularly suspicious or concerned?
I think the general flavor of his approach, which was they wanted to fix the amount of money and then they would produce the picture.
In English law, that's illegal.
Okay.
