单集简介 ...

What do you need to set the scene? CONSUME: "Anthropocene Reviewed" podcast by John Green CREATE: Write a 200 word story about a child. Give it a beginning, middle and an end. Something happened to this child. Maybe it was good. Maybe it was bad. But whatever it is clearly changes the child in the end of your story. Now write a 200-word story about that child as an adult. This adult is involved in a bank robbery. Maybe they’re the robber, or the cops, or a witness, or a get away driver, or a bank teller. Remember your first story when you write the second, but concentrate only on the bank robbery story. 单集文稿 ...

  • You've written so much till now and you've so much yet to write.

  • This is Start with this, a podcast featuring Night Vale creators, Joseph Fink and me, Jeffrey Cranor.

  • Each episode we discuss a topic and then give you two assignments.

  • Something to consume and something to create.

  • Start with this.

  • Exposition.

  • Art is hard.

  • Starting is hard.

  • If you want to start somewhere, you can start with this.

  • You can start with this.

  • I first got interested in podcasts in 2009 when I learned you could listen to this American Life on an ipod.

  • Living in New York, I took the subway everywhere.

  • So I didn't really listen to the radio anymore.

  • So it was a joy to learn.

  • I could still get radio while deep under 4th Avenue.

  • Of course, other great radio programs were out there too, like WNYC's on the media.

  • But there was also WTF with Marc Maron, just some comedian interviewing other comedians and Jordan Jesse Goh and film spotting and the New York City History podcast podcast, the Bowery Boys.

  • So many great shows in this newfangled podcast medium.

  • Then I met Joseph and he liked podcasts and we both liked talking about podcasts.

  • Then we made Night Vale and then some other podcasts.
