  • This BBC podcast is supported by ads outside the UK.

  • Dineshans, Tetris holding.

  • BBC Sounds Music Radio podcasts.

  • Hello.

  • It's 972 days since Russia began its full scale invasion of Ukraine.

  • And do you remember, Vitaly, just last week on the podcast we were talking about whether we were actually going to see video and photos of North Koreans either in Russia or on the Ukrainian border.

  • Well, we do appear to have evidence now that North Korea is sending troops to fight with Russia in Ukraine.

  • Yes, I've seen two really interesting videos.

  • In one of them, you see troops, apparently North Korean marching in Russia.

  • And I know it's Russia because I've, I've looked at the clip, I've looked at the map, and I think I'm certainly saying that they were marching in a Russian village called Sergey in the Russian Far East.

  • And so near the North Korean border.

  • Well, not too far from it.

  • Okay.

  • Yeah, it's, it's the part of Russia that's closest to North Korea.

  • So what makes me think that they're North Koreans?

  • You can't really hear very clearly what they're shouting.

  • But I've spoken to people who speak Korean and they say the tone and the kind of the how is being said, it sounds Korean in the northern accent.

  • Right.

  • And also the person who's filming the clip, and you can see his military chevron.

  • So he's a member of the Russian military.
