I mean, Lord knows the rest of the country sees us as kind of like the land of hippies.
But I think those of us who live here know that there's always been a little bit more nuance.
I mean, California is a deep blue state.
It's a state that's dominated by Democrats, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's sort of all Democratic Socialists of America all the time.
I mean, there's shades of blue and it seems like now maybe some shades of purple and even some red.
