With just over a week to go until election day, Donald Trump has done a three hour sit down interview with America’s biggest podcast host, Joe Rogan. It’s a direct appeal to men, particularly young, undecided male voters, and those who aren’t interested in traditional politics. Justin and Sarah discuss how significant this might be for Trump, and also, whether Kamala Harris is losing some momentum. We also hear from traditional Democrat voters Zoe and Herbert in Atlanta - the owners of a hair salon and barbershop - on what they really think about Kamala Harris. BBC Sounds Music Radio podcasts.
Hello everybody.
What does it take to win a modern election?
Both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are racing around the country, having all the big traditional rallies and appearing on tv.
But maybe the route to the voters hearts is a podcast.
Not just any podcast and not AmericasT, sadly.
But Donald Trump spent three whole hours sitting down talking to the man who is probably the biggest podcast host in the whole of America, Joe Rogan.
The biggest mistake I made was I picked some people.
I picked some great people, you know, but you don't think about that.
I picked some people that I shouldn't have picked.
I picked a few people that I shouldn't have picked and Neocons.
Yeah, neocons or bad people or disloyal people or people that were just people that were into them without bad advice.
Yeah, I mean, look, I mean you reading about them a little bit today, a guy like Kelly who was a bully.
