Its a race which captivates millions around the world.
The Dakar rally is clearly not for the faint of heart and the risks are very real.
Since it began in 1979, there have been countless injuries and even fatal crashes.
Though it originally took place between Paris, France and Dhaka, Senegal, hence the name, the rally switched to South America for a decade in 2009 before moving to its current location in Saudi Arabia in 2020.
Today on the show, we have two women who competed in the 46th edition of the rally earlier this year.

Motorcyclist and rally driver Annie Seal from Sweden is a legend in the motorsports world.
She's been the female Dakar champion for both the motorbike and car categories, and this year was her 11th time participating in the rally.
She was also the first woman to set a record, climbing 5305 meters up to Mount Everest on a motorbike.
And Alia Kolak was the youngest driver to take part in the race this year.
She's a 19 year old professional race driver, born in Dubai, raised by a czech father and a mother from the Seychelles.
