  • Hello and welcome to the Curator on Monaco Radio with me, Fernando Gustava Chico.

  • Over the next 60 minutes, I'll be bringing some of the very best interviews and reports from the past week of coverage here on Monaco Radio with highlights from our studios here at Midori House and from around the world.

  • This week, we speak with the Netflix co founder on his new venture.

  • One of our members said, Reid, you seem to really understand the golden rule.

  • And of course, you know, I thought about the classic version and he said, no, no, no, I mean the version that's whoever has gold makes the rules.

  • Plus, we Hear from Accor CEO Sebastian Bazin.

  • @ the international luxury travel market in Cannes.

  • We've done a survey.

  • Each boat owner is over 40 meters.

  • They go only 21 days a year.

  • And the main reason they're busy, but the main reason is only six cabin and six cabin.

  • If they have stepchildren and they remarried three times, they don't have a spare cabin for their friends, so they bail out.

  • All that and much more in the next hour here on the Curator with me, Fernando Gustavas.

  • We start the show with a highlight from our show, the Entrepreneurs.

  • Netflix co founder Reed Hastings talks about his latest venture, Powder Mountain, a pristine ski resort in Utah that's also an outdoor art museum.

  • Utah skiing is amazing because of the light powder coming off the Salt Lake, but many of the Utah ski resorts are very crowded.

  • Powder's unique in that it's an uncrowded and enormous resort, about 10,000 acres, about an hour north of Salt Lake City.

  • And tell me, Reid, what prompted you to.

  • I guess if there's a sort of a thread that runs through, I guess, most of the work that you've done in your storied career, it's building communities.

  • What made you feel you could service the existing community and build something even more special there?
