13 分钟Travel with Richard (and DBD Correspondent, Chef Wesley Avila, and his wife Tanya) to San Diego, to witness the Dodgers’ 6-5 loss against the Padres, on Tuesday night, in game 3 of the NLDS. The Dodgers now trail in the best-of-5 series 2 games to 1.
Wait, what was that?
Where are we?
We're in Padre's country.
Trump country.
And that's what's in country geographically known as San Diego County.
We traveled to San Diego for Game three of the NLDS against the villainous Padres on their home turf.
Myself, DBD correspondent Chef Wes Avila and his lovely wife Tanya.
We dressed to the nines, keepin it classy and we cheered on our boys in blue on the wrong side of enemy lines.
But the Dod Dodgers lost 65 to the Padres in Game 3 of the NLDS at Petco Park Tuesday night and they now trail in the best of five Series 2 games to one.
That means that if they don't win tonight, it's all over.
Just like that.
If the Dodgers do win tonight, they force a decisive Game 5, which would be played in LA at Dodger Stadium on Friday night.
And should they get there, if they don't win that one too, once again, it's all over.
This is how it goes.
We are on the proverbial ropes.
Welcome to Dodger Blue Dream, a baseball documentary made in real time.
I'm Richard Parks iii.
This is DBD Daily, our quick turnaround format.
So today on the show I'll try To recap our 6 to 5 heartbreaking loss, both the good and the bad of it.
And then we'll close that chapter, earn some incense, dry our eyes and move on.
