48 分钟In this final episode of the She Has A Name series, we take you behind the scenes to delve into the making of the show and what we’ve discovered since the show launched. Learn more about our efforts to talk with the person of interest in Anita’s murder investigation. And we answer your burning questions.
Okay.
So me and my team decided to jump on ZOOM recently to talk through all of the surprising information we've learned just over the last few weeks during the run of this podcast.
We thought it'd be fitting to devote an entire episode to what we've discovered.
So sit back as we delve into all things.
She has a Name, Our behind the scenes reporting, our efforts to talk with the person of interest authorities would like to connect with, and.
And some of the inconsistencies in the initial reporting of Anita's disappearance back in 87.
And later in the show, we're gonna share some of the beautiful messages you have sent to both me and Antonio.
Joining me for this episode is she has a Name, showrunner Nicole Hill, our research producer Kristin Fraser, and producer Marie Mendoza.
We kicked off with Nicole and the team talking about the making of the show and the impact it's had on their lives.
It is amazing.
We.
It took us months and months to make the show, and for a long time it was just our little collective working on it and talking over all these themes and the stories and what it meant to us and what we hoped it meant to others.
But then to put it out in the world and hear back the ways that it connected even beyond what we imagined has been, it's been, it's.
It's blown my mind reading all the comments, reading how personally people connect with the story.
Yes.
In particular the Detroiters and the way that the Detroiters and recognize their city and themselves in the story, it's better than I could have imagined.
What about you, Marie?
Now that we have completed the series for the most part and we can sit back and like, look at the story as a whole, I think about the courage that it takes for a lot of folks to talk with us and really the gift that someone telling their story to you is.
And I just, I am so pleased that people have seemed to, like, gain some sort of release and some sort of.
Some sort of healing, like you said, from this, from this process of excavating and telling their stories.
