Foreign.
Welcome to other world.
I'm your host, Jack Wagner.
One of the first times a person told me a paranormal story that really gave me pause was from a guy who was around my age, very similar to me, and he saw Bigfoot on a completely random night while he was driving home.
Obviously, I've heard all sorts of things about Bigfoot and Sasquatch throughout my life.
I don't think I took it very seriously, though, until suddenly I was face to face talking to a guy who was just like me, looking me dead in the eye, telling me about seeing Sasquatch.
And all of a sudden, I didn't have a way of ignoring it or writing him off.
And he seemed just as amazed as me explaining it.
You know, there are so many TV shows about Bigfoot.
I'm sure everyone's seen one of those things they're always called, like, Bigfoot discovered or Sasquatch secrets unlocked.
The first episode always starts off promising that this crack team of experts is going to finally get to the bottom of the big Sasquatch mystery.
And then by the end, it's always like, whoops, no luck this time.
We'll have to try again next season.
And on those shows, of course, the people reporting Bigfoot sightings are exactly the type you would expect, like a big, burly outdoorsman type, no disrespect, people who obsessively look for Bigfoot and and hope to see it.
Just kind of the exact person you would expect to be reporting a Bigfoot sighting.
And I think sometimes stuff like that can make the average person easily write off Sasquatch as a whole.
But the thing is, tons of people have seen Bigfoot, all sorts of people.
And oftentimes it's not when they're out looking for it.
I personally love stories like this because I'm so fascinated by the idea of somebody going through an otherwise random day of their life and then suddenly seeing this shocking, inexplicable creature that they've always assumed was just made up.
This episode is one of those types of stories.
