Before you listen to this BBC podcast, I'd like to tell you about something else you might enjoy.
My name's Alison Hindl and I commission audio drama and fiction for the BBC.
It's a great privilege because I get to unearth stories people love.
You should see the books and scripts covering my floor from new talent and established writers as well as classics.
The BBC has such a rich history of making great audio drama, we're still the largest producer in the world, and the popularity of podcasts means we can share what we do with even more people.
So if you like to lose yourself in a gripping audio drama or book, find your next listen on BBC Sounds.
BBC sounds music radio podcasts.
If you're just joining us, I strongly recommend you go all the way back to the beginning of the case of Charles Dexter Warden and catch up from there.
A lot has happened.
An awful lot.
What follows is a discussion in the studio about what we've learned so far.
It's not going to make a lot of sense to new arrivals.
If you're still here, welcome back.
Following my encounters with Diane Netley and Victoria Ness and Kennedy and Marcus Byron's unusual trip to the Blake house, we thought now would be a good time to try to assimilate what we've learned.
Kennedy and Marcus Byron had retrieved Robert Blake's notebook, so we made some copies and went away to read.
A few days later, we all reconvened in the studio, the three of us joined by doctor Eleanor Peck.
What you're going to hear now is that discussion, which gets a little spirited in places.
I'm Matthew Haywood.
And I'm Kennedy Fisher.
And this is the haunter of the dark.
